This is what people said about Champion car batteries and about customer service:
- Jay bought a 25-550ch battery from Champion, and he said that it’s excellent. He exchanged his old battery that went dead after 15 months, and Pep Boys gave him a new one as promised. Plus, the repairman there installed it for free! Excellent customer service! Jey was hoping to get three years out of this battery, as Subaru’s are notoriously tough on batteries. So far, so good, after about six weeks.
- Battery from Champion solves Jimmies problem. The salesperson was aware his battery was causing the strange behavior of his Sonic. No more stuck keys, the radio coming on when the car is off, or the problem getting the car out of the park!
- Vee’s S2000 required a new battery. Although it was not a popular model, Pep Boys had it in stock. She ordered it online, and it was ready for pickup nearly immediately. She just pulled the old one out, took it to the store, picked up the new one, brought it home, and installed it.
- One client recognized that sizes 58 or 59 would have fit the truck, but the Pep Boys personnel explained the difference to him. The power specifications were the same, but the sizes were not. It would have been a tight fit with the higher battery due to the earlier “repair” performed to the positive wire. He chose the shorter battery, cleaned up the wire, and left enough slack to make a correct connection. He is very thankful for Pep Boys’ assistance.
